
Annual passes must be purchased at the AOAA Trailhead in person with photo ID and completed 2025 waiver
Annual pass members MUST have their pass in order to access the trail system. If lost or stolen a day pass or new annual pass must be purchased as replacement
City of Shamokin Portal
In order to keep your riding experience safe and family friendly, we ask that you follow our trail rules which you can also find on our Get Started page.
Please make sure you have completed our insurance waiver !
Failure to comply with the rules, regulations, and safe operating procedures may result in arrest, fines, temporary or permanent banning from using the area or participating in any future activities or events, and may result in forfeiture of any permit costs or other costs already paid to the AOAA.

Portal Access
- First you must visit the AOAA Trailhead

- Purchase your pass before being granted entry to the Shamokin Portal

- You are not permitted to drive your OHV via State Route 125 to purchase a pass. Hours of operations for the portal will remain the same, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 9:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.**

Follow the signs
- All riders must stay on the route marked by the signs (Green and White)

- The route takes you through and around parts of downtown Shamokin. Ride right up to some of your favorite local hangouts!

- Riders must follow ALL street laws and regulations when riding in town

General Information
- Portal users must be ages 16 and older to ride on the streets
​
- All riders must wear DOT Certified helmets and protective eyewear
- The City of Shamokin Portal is subject to closure weather permitting
